Some really good discussion at this Mefi link about MIT's recently announced organic-based solar concentrator technology, which has got a lot of coverage*, since the recent publication by Mark Baldo and co-workers in Science magazine, due to its potential to turn "windows into electricity generators."
Slap them up on all windows and see the world in colored hues, I say... nothing wrong with that! ;)
